New Year, Started Off Poorly!
Let ne first begun to say that I was looking forward to have a good 2025, but mother nature decided not to. California had the wild fires, which I was not effected by them, but only would suffer from the bad air quality. Many people have lost their lives and homes, and I truly feel for them.
During these wildfires that was happening, I noticed that there was a wet spot in my Office/Closet by the wall that is shared with my bathroom. I checked the bathroom and I am not expert to anything plumbing related, all I need to know is that when I need to do a Number 1, or a Number 2, I use the toilet , push the silver handle on the side, so i can watch the water go down the hole, and I might say to myself “Water Go Down The Hole!” Some boys plays with tools and become a handyman , and some boys plays with car toys and become a mechanic , well I did not play with tools , but I had a lot of toy cars, but I choose to learn technical side of things, such as computers, building , coding , and how to use the computer.
Anyway, I had a major problem with the carpet being wet, each day that the wildfires, I did not want to be outside or be to active to have plumbers come by. The first few days I just made a note of the wetness in the carpet. I even checked the toilet and did not know anything is wrong about it.
Eventually, I told my mother about the wet carpet and we had to get it checked out and this time the wild fires were at a clam state , and my mother called and hired a plumber, plumber came by to assess the situation , and gave my mom his report and findings. My mother called me and wanted to call the HOA and give her the status of my water damage. HOA than sent their own plumbers to my location and checked out the carpet and toilet. The result of finding is that the wall and floor was dry, but a few days the HOA sent an letter to my mother, to share the information that the condo has mold.
My mother hired a handyman that is hired to help me pack my things , fix the toilet , renovation of the bathroom , and renovation of the kitchen , as well as anything else that can help to set up the condo as best way possible.
The current update of Jan, 30th, is that I am completely out of the condo, all my packed things are in boxes at my mom’s or in storage. I am temporarily or fully moved into mom’s.
